A classic scone, alternatively and aptly called a quick bread, and a hot cup of tea are exactly what this coming-of-age film would serve up. Though at one point we think that Jenny, the straightlaced girl of sixteen who finds herself charmed by the worldly, and much-older David would indulge in the more exotic, sophisticated dried pear and cardamom scones. But we're confident that by the end of the film, Jenny would be happily satisfied with a classic scone.
