Zinfandel-Braised Leg of Lamb

    Delicious! I added a little beef broth to the shredded lamb at the end to make it jucier, but otherwise it was just perfect. I'm sure it's better with lamb, but I may try the recipe with beef some time to cut back on cost. I served the lamb over egg noodles (I think it would be good over mashed potatoes, too) with roasted broccoli on the side.

    Great Dish. It was a little dry at the end and I added in some more wine and a can of low-sodium beef broth to juice it up. I made it with a Sausal Old Vine Zin which added a little spice to the dish.

    This is the best lamb recipe ever. I made it exactly as written and everyone loved it! Will make it frequently. Served over buttered noodles it's good for company too.

    I did not enjoy this recipe. The lamb was dry and the sauce was not great.

    Ok but now little dry and not at all visually pleasing. Needs some kind of color to perk it up. Won't make it again and wouldn't recommend making it for company.
