This is the best lemon pie I have ever eaten! It beats any restaurant hands down and compares to a lemon icebox as well. I don't even prefer lemon and I crave this pie! Super easy and there will be no leftovers! Perfect for any occasion casual or formal. I like to make it the night before serving to let the flavor get the full effect.

Easy and wonderfully tasty. I will make this again, and serve it for company.

Delicious!! Everyone raved about this pie. It was a cool treat for summer. You'll probably need 7-8 lemons for the cup of lemon juice. That's the only time-consuming part. Otherwise, very easy to make and very yummy.

I made this pie a few days ago and it is already gone! I made it for a dinner party and it was a huge hit. It is a little piece of heaven in every bite and great for a hot summer day.

Yummy! We had to make the crust using gluten free graham crackers because of my husband's dietary restrictions. Everyone scarfed this one down!

Maybe the best thing I've ever eaten! Truly fantastic dessert.

I took this to a luncheon today and it was a hit. Easy to make and you can make it the day before. It takes a little time to complete due to the cooling of the pie shell before you add the filling. Need to add just a little bit more power sugar to the heavy whipping cream to make it taste better. Over all I give this pie a 5/5.

While this is a good pie and very easy to make, I question using an entire cup of fresh lemon juice. It was a little too tart for my taste! The next time I make this pie, I will cut the lemon juice to 1/2 cup.

The Zesty Lemon Pie has became a family favorite! I did add lemon zest from one lemon to the filling...taste and presentation were perfect!

This pie is very easy to make and it tastes like an old fashioned lemon pie. My family loves it and I make it for others and share with them.

One of the most delicious pies that I have ever eaten! I used meyer lemons that I grow myself and added the zest of one. Be forwarned this pie is so good that it is dangerous to have around! All I could think of were the few slices left in the fridge. It's a keeper!

My favorite! Have made it for many years called "lemon icebox pie", and my mother made it when I was young. Can't go wrong with this one.

Amazing! My favorite fruit pie, it always gets rave reviews. Don't make this unless you have an event or a dinner party to take it to because otherwise, you will find yourself eating the whole thing!

I made this pie for a summer BBQ with friends. It was easy to make and tasted great. The lemon flavor was light and perfect for a hot summer day.

I agree on this one - wonderful! Lucious, lemony.....perfect in every way, this is a true lemon lovers pie! It has the perfect tang to it - the sweetened condensed milk takes care of that. I just bought a 9" deep dish and there was more than enough room. Nice refreshing dessert on yesterdays 85 degree day!

Bake for 15 minutes? Can this be right? I'm setting my clock for longer -- it is still runny at 15 minutes!

I followed this recipe as written except for adding a bit of lemon zest to the filling. It was fabulous and a big hit with book club. Everyone wanted the recipe. It is the perfect tartness. It's a cross between a dense key lime pie and a lemon meringue pie. My family loved the leftovers the following night.

First pie I've ever made, and it was a hit! I made this at Thanksgiving last year, and my brother-in-law was so excited to have a piece as this is one of his favorite types of pie. He gave it 5 stars, too, and he went back for thirds! The rest of the family enjoyed it as well, including my very picky mother. She said it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, and I have to agree! The only change I made was I used half fresh-squeezed juice from fresh lemons and the rest was Real Lemon brand lemon juice. This pie is so quick and easy to make! I love it so much that it's going to be my go-to take-a-long dessert from now on. I'm making two right now, in fact, to bring to a friend's tomorrow. Well, actually, one will be staying here for my family to enjoy. I know it won't stay in the fridge long, though!

I am a perfectionist when I make recipes and am often disappointed. This is an excellent recipe, and it turned out beautifully and tasted delicious! The only thing was with my deep dish it took 1 1/2 crust recipes to fill mine plate. The filling filled my dish perfectly. This recipe is a 10!

I made this for my husband's birthday. He really likes lemon meringue pie but I really don't like making it. It was perfect!! Easy to make and so very delicious!

The pie has turned out great!!! PLEASE follow the directions/measurements correctly or your pie will turn out runny. Even if you cook it longer it will not firm correctly due to excess liquid!!! EXCELLENT DESSERT FOR CHILDREN, DINNER PARTIES, AND HOT SUMMER DAYS. Its also a great addition after a spicy or heavy meal...

For those who found the pie did not set, you have to be sure to used sweetened condensed milk and follow the recipe for filling exactly. For crust, I used 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/3 cup melted butter pressed into 10 inch pie plate and baked for 10 min. as directed. After it cooled, added filling and baked at 350 degrees for 17 minutes; the pie set perfectly and looked great. Made it the night before, but found that it tasted best 2 days later. This is a great make ahead dessert, as it tastes better after 2 to 3 days.

Lemons are not my favorite fruit, but I will admit this was a wonderful tasty pie. I also used Meyer Lemons. My MIL makes a lemon pie that is a favorite of my husbands and he had to admit this was just as tasty. I have watched her make that pie and this was so much easier to make. Great Pie!

I decided to make this recipe after reading all of the glowing reviews, but I guess it's true what they say - different strokes for different folks! This pie was way too sweet, sickly sweet. I will not be making this again. I have half an uneaten pie after Christmas dinner that will be thrown in the garbage. I never have dessert leftovers so that speaks volumes from my family!

Thought it would be better because of the reviews. It's an Ok recipe.

I improvised for speed and available ingredients. I replaced one can of condensed milk with lemon Greek yogurt. I used the juice of one lemon, plus bottled lemon juice, plus a half melted serving of Italian ice! I baked for 20 minutes, and after cooling for an hour, froze for two hours to ensure setting. I garnished with whipped cream and a few sculpted pieces of the lemon ice. This made for a good balance of creamy, sweet, texture, and tart for a family-friendly treat.
