Ingredients

  • 2 yellow squash, halved lengthwise
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup (1.3 ounces) shredded 50%-less-fat pepper-Jack cheese

Preparation

  1. 1. Prepare grill.
  2. 2. Lightly coat squash with cooking spray; sprinkle evenly with salt. Place squash on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until almost tender.
  3. 3. Place squash, cut sides up, on a serving plate; sprinkle evenly with cheese. Serve immediately.
