Like others, I didn't make it exactly according to the recipe given I didn't have all the ingredients. Still, it is a perfect cold weather dish. I think this will become one of our favorites.

It was decent. Wouldn't make again.

I would make this again. I love soup in the winter, and am always looking for new soups to try. This is definitely a keeper. I did add one extra can of chicken broth, and used a whole precooked chicken. The sour cream and cheese topping are great. I also had some whole grain crackers on the side.

I just loved this recipe. I cut back to two cans of beans and omitted the chiles (husband is not into spicy foods) but loved the creaminess of this soup! Picky 11 year old was not as in love with it as me, but that will not stop me from serving it again!

It was very easy to make and tasted great. Perfect for a fall day. I didn't change anything about the recipe.

The only thing better than Witches' Brew Chicken Soup on day 1 is Witches' Brew Chicken Soup on day 2. This soup is our family's favorite.

Great soup! As previously mentioned, I also used the crock pot. I roasted 4 chicken breasts and shredded them and added them to the rest of the ingredients. It turned out great. We served it with fritos, sour cream, green onions and bacon. Will make again soon!

This has been a family favorite since the first Halloween we tried it out. We enjoy it year round!

This was a great recipe. Can't wait to make it again. It will be a regular soup at our house. I added more garlic . We served it with garlic bread also.

Absolutely wonderful! Loved this soup....followed the recipe except only used 2 cans of beans and it was plenty and added extra cilantro because I'm a huge fan. Will make again and again; easy too!

great recipe! to make more like a white chicken chili I stir in 1 can of GN and 1 can of cannellini, and then mash 2 cans of GN with the flour and milk which thickens it a bit (sometimes I add a little more flour and milk). Very yummy on a cold day!

My boyfriend and I both really liked this soup although we both thought it was a bit too spicy for our taste. I think next time I'll reduce the amount of green chiles. It was very easy to make. My boyfriend really likes biscuits so I served this with Cooking Light's Sour Cream, Cheddar and Green Onion Drop Biscuits. Yum!

BEST soup ever! I added two cans of Chiles instead of one and used 1/2 cup of cilantro. This soup is absolutely delicious...especially with sweet corn muffins!

After trying this soup one time, my husband and I agreed it's one of our favorites. Our toddler loves it too. I made it per the recipe, however I used pre-made chicken that i had on hand so that I could have a vegetarian version for me and a meat version for my husband and son. This soup is warm, hearty and flavorful. Not at all spicy.

This recipe also works great with leftover turkey bits & pieces after Thanksgiving. My grandma makes this every year with the leftover turkey, it's amazing! It saves us from eating endless turkey leftover sandwiches. We use two cans great northern beans, and one can of garbanzos, and we sometimes skip the cilantro. (not huge cilantro folks) I totally agree with maryberkley, it's even better on day 2.

Great recipe! I love the idea of using mashed beans to thicken instead of cream. I use leftover rotisserie chicken from the grocery store deli because that is what I had on hand. I only used two cans of beans but added tomatoes, celery and corn. I used more chiles and cayenne to kick it up a notch! This soup is super high protein and yummy!

This soup is amazing! The plan was to freeze half but it was so good we couldn't wait to dive in for more the next night. So making more today :-) made according to recipe except I replaced the chicken bouillon with 2 cups extra chicken broth, no extra salt added. Topped with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and fresh cracked pepper. Yum yum YUM!

This one is a keeper. Reminiscent of white chili. I didn't have bouillon granules, but it worked just fine. Double the recipe and freeze some!
