Winter Green Bean Salad

Yield 6 servings


  • 2 (16-ounce) cans French-style green beans, drained
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How to Make It

  1. Combine beans, bacon, and onion in a large bowl, tossing lightly.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour over vegetables, stirring gently to blend well. Cover, and refrigerate 24 hours.
