  • 2 Red Delicious apples, chopped
  • 4 grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
  • 3 oranges, peeled and sectioned
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar, divided
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup nonfat sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. Combine fruit and 1/4 cup brown sugar, tossing to coat. Cover and chill 8 hours, stirring occasionally.

  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; add remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar, and cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat; gradually stir in sour cream and vanilla. Serve with fruit mixture.
