- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can beef consommé, undiluted
- 1 1/2 cups tomato juice
- 1/2 cup rosé wine
- Commercial sour cream
- Chopped fresh chives
How to Make It
Combine consommé and tomato juice in a medium saucepan; simmer over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Stir in wine, and simmer an additional 2 minutes.
Serve consommé warm or chilled as an appetizer soup. Garnish each serving with a dollop of sour cream, and sprinkle with chopped chives.
