Wild Mushroom Sauce

    Worthy of a Special Occasion

    This has been a favorite since it was published and is well worthy of a special occasion. For a week night dinner use it with sliced turkey from the deli or pork tenderloin - oven roasted or pan-fried medallions. Use all crimini mushrooms to save trouble of removing gills from portabellos. If chives are not available use finely minced sweet onion. I have also used fat-free low sodium chicken broth to replace beef broth & water. Great and guilt free for sauce lovers.
