The Whoopsy Daisy
To make simple syrup, combine equal amounts of sugar and water in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook 1 minute or until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally. Simple syrup keeps for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container in the fridge.
