First meal I've made off of the myrecipes website that I have thrown the leftovers away. My husband and I didn't think there was any flavor at all. At least it was cheap so we didn't feel bad about not saving it.

I added a red bellpepper from the garden and a can of salmon (with the lemon I thought some sort of fish was in order and my husband has to have meat) and that seemed to help quite a bit. I will leave out the chickpeas if I ever make it again, the kids weren't fans. Not probably going to be something the family asks for but it is quick and easy in a pinch if you are willing to make it your own.

I should have listened to the review about this. It really had no flavor whatsoever. Half-way while making it I could already not taste any flavoring & tried adding some stuff, but still no luck. Would not make again.

I made this dish yesterday and thought it was delicious. I added turkey hot sausage, and will try it in the future with chicken or shrimp. All the flavors came toghter so nicely. Loved the crushed red pepper flakes and I always add more garlic than any recipe calls for. Before serving I drizzled a little olive oil and fresh grated romano cheese. I can't wait to make it again....I will proudly make this dish for my next party when I need a covered dish. This recipe is a keeper with me. So glad I tried it. :) YUM!!
