Ingredients

  • 4 cups whole-grain cereal (such as Multigrain Cheerios or Bran Chex)
  • 2 cups puffed-rice cereal
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup raw sesame seeds
  • 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. In a large bowl, combine first five ingredients. Whisk together remaining ingredients in another bowl.
  2. Stir liquid into cereal nut mixture. Spread in a single layer on a 12-by-15- inch rimmed baking sheet and bake, stirring every 10 minutes, until golden, 30 minutes
