White Gold Icing for Carrot Cake

If you make carrot cake, you will want to try this icing which turns great into fabulous. Recipe from my grandmother.

  • 8 ounce(s) cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine
  • 1 pound(s) icing sugar
  • 2 teaspoon(s) vanilla


  1. Soften the cream cheese and blend with butter. Add sugar gradually and then add vanilla. Frost on top and sides of carrot cake.
