White Bean-and-Tuna Salad

Stuff a whole wheat pita with this refreshing salad for a new way to enjoy tuna and beans.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 (20-ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (6 1/2-ounce) can solid white tuna in spring water, drained and flaked
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Lettuce leaves
