- 2 bag(s) kale, swiss chard, or green of choice
- 1 can(s) black beans
- 8 cup(s) beef broth
- 1 whole(s) diced onion
- 3 clove(s) garlic
- 1 can(s) diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon(s) oil
- Add oil to a dutch oven on the stove set to medium high. Add onion and garlic and cook until translucent about two to three minutes. Add smokies, beans, tomatoes and broth. Bring to a boil. Add greens a handful at a time until they are all wilted in the soup. Let simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve with a crusty loaf of bread.
