This is definitely a sipping cocktail that's at its best when made with high-quality ingredients.


  • 3 tablespoons brandy
  • 1 tablespoon orange liqueur
  • Crushed ice cubes
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1 lemon rind twist
  • 1/2 cup Champagne or sparkling wine

How to Make It

  1. Combine brandy, orange liqueur, and crushed ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Cover with lid, and shake until thoroughly chilled. Strain into a glass. Squeeze juice from lemon wedge into glass. Add lemon rind twist and Champagne or sparkling wine.
