Wasabi Aïoli

Wasabi Aioli serves as a pungent condiment to fish, veggie burgers, meats, and sandwiches.


Makes 3/4 cup

1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon wasabi paste
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/3 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon light soy sauce


Whisk together first 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Gradually add oil, whisking constantly. Whisk in soy sauce and 1 tablespoon water. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
