Walnut-Ricotta Spread

Yield 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 small garlic cloves
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 12 fresh basil leaves, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make It

  1. With food processor running, drop garlic cloves through food chute; process until minced. Add cheeses and sugar; process until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Add walnuts, basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper; process until blended.
