Waldorf Spinach Salad

Waldorf Spinach Salad, our spin on the traditional salad, tosses spinach leaves in the mix and uses a vinaigrette tinted with cinnamon instead of mayonniase to coat the salad.

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (9-oz.) package fresh spinach, torn
  • 2 large Gala apples, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces extra-sharp white Cheddar cheese, shaved
  • 1 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 1 cup honey-roasted cashews
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins


  1. Whisk together first 7 ingredients in a large serving bowl until well blended. Add spinach and remaining ingredients, tossing gently to coat. Serve immediately.
