Vietnamese Dipping Sauce

Vietnamese Dipping Sauce is as versatile as it is good. Serve this dipping sauce with rice rolls, over salads, or with Vietnamese Barbecue Tacos.
This recipe goes with Vietnamese Barbecue Tacos
Yield: Makes 1 cup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup fish sauce
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 serrano pepper or Thai chile pepper, sliced and seeded
- Stir together water, fish sauce, vinegar, sugar, lime juice, garlic, and serrano pepper in a medium bowl. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator up to 1 week.
