This was surprisingly good, as I was leery of the cabbage. My husband loved it and requested I put this in the rotation. I used cilantro and omitted the apple. I would recommend reducing the salt by a teaspoon as we found it to be too much for our tastes. This is a very tasty, filling and satisfying salad with tons of nutrients!

Great combination of ingredients - the fresh herbs are a must! I used soy chicken for a vegetarian salad and skipped the apple. Served with roasted lobster tails with ginger dipping sauce.
