1. Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan; add 2 family-size tea bags, and remove mixture from heat. Steep 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags.
2. Pour tea into a 1/2-gal. heatproof container, and add ice cubes to fill; stir. Serve over additional ice, and garnish, if desired.
