Venison Wineburgers

  • 1.5 pound(s) ground venison
  • 4 tablespoon(s) red wine
  • 3 tablespoon(s) bread crumbs
  • 6 strip(s) bacon
  • 3 tablespoon(s) butter melted
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste


  1. Mix meat with wine and bread crumbs. Refrigerate one to two hours. Shape into six patties. Wrap each patty with a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Brush patties with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill, basting with butter.
