Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups maple syrup
- 1 (3-inch) piece vanilla bean, split lengthwise or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
- Pour maple syrup into a medium saucepan. Scrape seeds from vanilla bean; add seeds and bean to syrup. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat; discard bean.
