I made this recipe as it was written and thought it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were reminiscent of rice pudding and as another reviewer mentioned, it makes for a good hot chocolate substitute when you want something a little lighter. This is definitely an appropriate drink for a special occasion/breakfast/chilly winter afternoon.

We loved this! We made it with Splenda instead of sugar. It is a little sweet (which intensified each day it was in the fridge); you could decrease the sugar amount. We added brandy to some of it. Just a tad gave a great flavor without tasting too boozy. We will definitely make it again.

I made this for Christmas morning, and loved it! I found it much lighter than hot chocolate, and the whole family enjoyed it. Think it will become a tradition in our family!

This was really a disappointing drink. Served it at a Christmas dessert party and no one asked for seconds. Lots of people left half in their cup. It was too sweet and, since I added cinnamon schnapps, it was overpoweringly cinnamon tasting. UGH!

I loved this! It's a great, soothing winter drink. I've made it twice for my husband and I, and we'll be having it again after the midnight service on Christmas Eve. It's perfect for the season!

I love the Vanilla Steamers from coffee stands, and I think this is far better than what I am served there! The almond is a nice flavor addition to the vanilla but does not overpower the drink. I'm not a fan of cinnamon in my drinks so I omitted. Next time, I think I may top it with some whip cream - lowfat of course. We will definitely be making this on a regular basis.
