Vampire Steak

This had great taste and I loved the lemon-garlic-paprika paste for the steak. I actually had 1/2 a lemon left over and once I put the steak on the grill, I squeezed the lemon over the top. It gave the steak a great lemony tang. I paired it with the Grilled Corn, Poblano & Black Bean Salad and we ate some of it with corn tortillas that I had left over from another dish. It's a great dish with a lot of potential for different leftover meals.

This was very good, and the Spanish smoked paprika gives a really unique flavor so don't just use the regular kind!

Whoa! An intense ( in a good way) marinade/paste. We love garlic (grated it in with a micro plane) so this was terrific. Used regular paprika and it tasted fine. Since we had a 1 1/2 pound steak for 2, we are looking forward to leftovers for a stir fry, fajitas or salad.

So so good. I make this regularly with some steamed veggies and mashed potatoes. Husband and I love this recipe.

This wasn't awful, but I wouldn't make it again. Flank steak is a nice flavorful cut of steak, and as such, it can be perfectly enjoyed with just a bit of cracked pepper. Certain rubs and marinades affect the flavor in various ways. In the case of this one, I think it overpowered the steak with a combo of bitter spice and heavy garlic. Rather than compliment the steak, the rub just took over. Like I said, not awful, but there are so many better options (including serving it perfectly cooked and plain) that I won't revisit this recipe.

This had nice flavors, although I think I scored the meat a bit too much.

Absolutely amazing! I marinated this for about 6hrs, used dried tarragon and cooked indoors on a grill pan. I served this with potatoes au gratin and steamed green beans and used leftover steak both on a salad and in a wrap for lunch. This is a wonderful recipe that I will make again and again!

I love the movie "Hotel Transylvania" and my favorite line is one where Drac declares, "I do NOT say blah-de-blah!" He'd be saying that about this recipe, though. Very blah. I had such high hopes after opening the marinating container and smelling it. I made the recipe according to the directions but wound up marinating it longer than expected after a last-minute change in dinner plans. I was afraid the flavor might be too strong when we cooked it for dinner tonight. Nope. It wasn't bad, just very, very bland. There are far too many other tasty recipes to make for me to ever come back to this one.

This was okay but not as great as I thought it would be. I used a sirloin steak and it was fine but recipe was nothing to rave about
