  • 2 (10 3/4 oz) can(s) tomato soup
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can(s) diced fire-roasted tomatoes
  • 2 1/2 cup(s) buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoon(s) chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground pepper


  1. Combine all ingredients in a 3-qt. saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring often, 6 - 8 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve hot or freeze
