  1. 1 lb ground beef
  2. 1/2 lb ground pork
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 1tsp paprika
  5. 1/2 tsp pepper
  6. 1/3 c uncooked rice
  7. 3 minced onions
  8. 3 tbs shortening
  9. 1 head cabbge
  10. 2 cans tomoato soup
  11. minced garlic

  12. put rice in salted boiling water, let stand 5 mins. drain and mix with meat. remove core from cabbage, place in boiling salted water. cut off louter leaves as they wilt. drain and trim thick portions away. brown onion in shortening and combine with seasonings rice-meat mixture. and garlic. place filling on cabbage leaf and roll. place in large kettle and pour over tomatoe soup and water. cook slowly until tender
