Slow Cooker Honey Sesame Chicken (Freezer)

  • 4 Chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 cup(s) Honey
  • 1/2 cup(s) Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup(s) Onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup(s) Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Veg oil
  • 2 clove(s) Garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoon(s) Cornstarch
  • 6 tablespoon(s) Water


  1. 1. season both sides of chicken with salt & pepper - put in crock pot

  2. 2. in a small bowl, combine honey, soy, onion, ketchup, oil, garlic - pour over chicken

  3. 3. cook on low for 3 - 4 hours or on high for 1.5 - 2 hours or until chicken is cooked through

  4. 4. remove chicken from crock pot, leave sauce - dissolve 4 teaspoons of cornstarch in 6 tablespoons of water and pour into crock pot - stir to combine with sauce - replace lid and cook sauce on high for 10 more minutes or until thickened

  5. 5. cut chicken into bite-size pieces, then return to pot and toss with sauce before serving - serve over rice or noodles

  6. Directions for Freezing
  7. 1. season chicken with salt and pepper and put into a gallon-sized bag

  8. 2. combine honey, soy, onion, ketchup, oil, garlic and pour over chicken in bag

  9. 3. put in freezer - pull out and allow to thaw overnight then follow the cooking directions above
