Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff with Pasta

  • 500g Blade Steak Diced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 1/2 clove(s) garlic crushed
  • 250g mushrooms sliced
  • 1/4 cup(s) tomato paste
  • 1/2 can(s) tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) dijon mustard
  • 125mls beef stock
  • 1/2 cup(s) sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon(s) gravy powder
  • salt and pepper


  1. Place all ingredients in slow cooker, except mushrooms, sour cream and gravy powder.
  2. Cook covered on low for 6 hours or 3 hours on high
  3. Add mushrooms then cook for a further 1 hour
  4. Add sour cream and gravy
  5. Serve with pasta
