Slow cooked Pulled pork sandwiches with tangy broccoli slaw

  • 1 Red onion Sliced thin
  • 8 tablespoon(s) cider vingar
  • 1/4 cup(s) Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup(s) mayonnaise
  • 12 ounce(s) Broccoli slaw 4 cups
  • 1 Yellow onion Chopped
  • 1/4 cup(s) Tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) worchestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon(s) dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Cajun seasoning
  • 1.5 pound(s) Pork shoulder
  • Bread or buns Toasted


  1. 1) in a bowl mix 4 tbsp vinegar plus salt,pepper and onion
  2. Refrigerate 4 hrs to 3 days

  3. 2) mix together 2 tbsp vinegar plus sour cream and mayo. After mixing add slaw and refrigerate 12 hours. Add 1/4 tsp salt and pepper

  4. 3) coat pork in other ingredients

  5. Cook 4 hrs on high or 8 hrs slow in the slow cooker

  6. Shred pork when done

  7. 4) serve on buns
  8. Pork plus onions
  9. Slaw on the side
