  • 1 pound(s) frozen prepared shrimp
  • 1 cup(s) fast cooking grits
  • 1 cup(s) water
  • 1 teaspoon(s) minced garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) red pepper
  • 1 can(s) rotel tomatoes
  • 8 ounce(s) shredded monteray jack and cheddar cheeses with jalapeno peppers
  • 2 can(s) low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup(s) heavy whipping cream


  1. 1) Saute onions and garlic
  2. 2) cook grits in broth and water and boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly
  3. 3) remove from heat and add rest of ingredients
