  • Brine
  • 1 cup(s) Water
  • 2 cup(s) Vinegar
  • Add to one pint jar of sliced jalapeños
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) Pickling spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) Olive oil


  1. Pour hot brine over peppers and spices. Seal and process in a water bath for 10 minutes

  2. Variations:
  3. Roast jalapeños
  4. Roast garlic
  5. Add a drop of balsamic vinegar to each jar
