  • 1/2 cup(s) butter, softened
  • 1 cup(s) buttermilk
  • 1 deep dish unbaked pie shell
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 dash(es) nutmeg (optional)
  • 3 rounded Tbsp flour
  • 2 cup(s) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla


  1. Prepare pie shell.

  2. Add sugar to softened butter and cream well. Beat in flour and eggs. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, and nutmeg. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees 45-55 min. Cool completely before serving.
