  1. Ingredients

  2. 1 tbls butter
  3. 1 1/2 tbls flour
  4. 1 cup chicken broth
  5. 1/2 cup half & half
  6. 2 tbls dijon mustard
  7. 2 tsp lemon juice
  8. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  9. 1 tsp minced garlic
  10. 1/2 cup cheese 1/2 cheddar, 1/2 jack
  11. Directions

  12. Melt butter in a small saucepan add flour, stirring until smooth. Gradually stir in chicken broth and half-and-half. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly, about 1 minute. Whisk in mustard, lemon juice, and garlic, pepper and cheese. Great over asparagus, or you favorite veggie.
