Mixed Bean and Chorizo Cassoulet

  • 100g Chorizo Small Cubes
  • 1 small tin of each Butter Bean, Borlotti Bean
  • 1 Leek Fine Slice
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Fine Chopped
  • 400ml Passata
  • 200ml Chicken stock
  • 1tsp brown sugar
  • Pinch Chilli Flakes


  1. Add the Chorizo to a cold Casserole dish and put on a low heat. Fry for 5-10mins for it to release its oils. Add the Garlic, Chilli Flakes, Leek and sugar, fry for 5 mins. Drain the beans and add them with the passata and stock. Put into an oven and cook for an hour at 180c
