  1. chopped onions, garlic
  2. chopped ham (4oz)
  3. half bag frozen turnip greens/turnips (6oz)
  4. half bag frozen black eyed peas (6oz)
  5. 1/2 cup pace picante
  6. 11/2 c water or chick stock
  7. leftover cornbread

  8. saute onions, garlic,ham
  9. add stock and picante
  10. bring to simmer
  11. add peas,turnips
  12. simmer about 40 min or till peas are tender (add water if necessary)
  13. season with salt/pepper/red pepper( if necessary)

  14. serve over corn bread top with mexican blend cheese.
