  • 1 can(s) 15oz tomato sauce
  • 1 cup(s) beef broth
  • 5 stalk(s) chopped celery
  • 1/2 package(s) ditalini
  • 2 tablespoon(s) each oregano and basil
  • 1 can(s) great northern beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can(s) kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 pound(s) lean ground beef
  • 1 large chop. onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 2 can(s) petite diced tomatos
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 package(s) shredded carrots
  • 2 1/2 cup(s) spicy V8
  • 1 teaspoon(s) thyme
  • 1 tablespoon(s) white vinegar
  • 10-12 clove(s) minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup(s) fresh Italian parsley, chopped
  • hot pepper sauce to taste


  1. brown beef in large pot over medium heat, drain fat. add vegetables including minced garlic cloves. saute 10 minutes. add rest of ingredients except pasta, simmer 2-3 hours. Cook pasta ( al dente) separately drain and add to soup. simmer 10 minutes longer. Spoon into bowls and top with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
