Ham and Dumplings

A twist on a classic-- Ham & Dumplings made with Flat Dumpling strips are sue to hit the spot. Stir in some of your favorite vegetables, and you've got a meal!

  • 1 Meaty Country Ham Bone
  • 1 package(s) 24 oz. flat dumpling strips (such as Anne's)
  • 3 cup(s) cooked butterbeans, corn or peas if desired


  1. Boil meaty country ham bone until meat is falling off. Remove ham from pot and remove bone. Add enough water to pot to make 3 quarts. Add dumplings, 6 strips per serving. Cook 10 - 12 minutes or until tender. Pull the country ham apart or cut in cubes and return to pot. Season to taste. Add cooked butterbeans, corn, or peas for variety.
