Gruyere Meatloaf

  • 1 1/2 pound(s) ground sirloin
  • 1/4 cup(s) bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup(s) ketchup
  • 1 cup(s) red onion
  • 2 slice(s) bacon
  • 2 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup(s) gruyere cheese
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper


  1. Combine all ingredients except cheese. Add 1/2 cup then save 1/4 to sprinkle on top. Bake at 400 for 45 min. Drain fat and then let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with ketchup.
