Deviled Eggs

This recipe was given to me by Dee Fowler, the church clerk at Lakeview Church of God, Iowa Park, TX.

  • 12 Hard boiled eggs
  • 1/2 cup(s) Mayo
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Mustard
  • 2 tablespoon(s) minced onion
  • 2 tablespoon(s) sweet relish
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. place eggs in a container large enough for all eggs to touch the bottom of the pan. bring to a boil. Turn off the burner and cover the pan. Let stand for 10 minutes. Pour off the hot water. Cover eggs with ice cold water and add ice enough to cover the eggs. After ice melts, pour off water, and shuck the eggshells.

  2. Cut eggs lengthwise. Place the whites on a plate, put yokes in a bowl. Mash yolks and add all the other ingredients. Mix well. Fill the whites with yolk mixture.
