Crock Pot Fresh Artichokes with Lemon Butter

  • 4 Large Fresh Artichokes
  • 12 cup(s) Hot Water
  • 4 small lemons, sliced thin
  • Lemon Butter Sauce:
  • 2/3 cup(s) melted butter
  • 6 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) seasoning salt


  1. With sharp knife, slice about 1" off top of each artichoke; cut off stem near base.
  2. With scissors, trim about 1/2" off top of each leaf.
  3. Place artichokes in your crock pot; add hot water and lemon slices.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH 4 to 5 hours or low for 8 to 10 hours or until done.
  5. Drain and serve with Lemon Butter Sauce

  7. Combine all ingredients.
