Crawfish Cornbread

  • 1 cup(s) cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup(s) oil
  • 1 can(s) cream of corn
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1/4 jalapeno pepper chopped
  • 2 stalk(s) celery chopped
  • 1 cup(s) cheese grated
  • 1 pound(s) crawfish tails chopped


  1. Mix cornmeal, baking soda, and salt. Stir in eggs, oil, and cream of corn. Add onion, peppers, celery, cheese, and crawfish. Pour into greased baking pan. Bake 30-45 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool and serve with salad.
