On October 9th, 2012, Tropical Foods had its Flavors of the Fall Recipe Contest with the culinary students at the Charlotte Campus of Johnson & Wales University. This recipe, Chicken a la Peach, was created by Andrea Defillo.

  • 3 tablespoon(s) Tropical FoodxE2x80x99s PB&J MixxC2xAE
  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • xC2xBD tablespoon(s) salt
  • xC2xBD tablespoon(s) ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon(s) butter
  • xC2xBD tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • xC2xBD cup(s) peach juice
  • xC2xBD cup(s) granulated sugar


  1. Rub chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Let marinate for 10 minutes, then rinse.
  3. Melt butter and olive oil in a sauté pan.
  4. Add chicken breasts and fry on medium high until done.
  5. Boil peach juice, sugar, and Tropical Food’s PB&J Mix® in a saucepan; simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Plate chicken breasts with the peach sauce and serve.
