  • 4 cup(s) sugar
  • 2 stick(s) butter
  • 2 cup(s) light Karo Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 2 can(s) large evaporated milk


  1. Mix butter in heavy sauce pan. Stir in sugar and Karo syrup, cook over medium heat to full boil. Add milk a little at a time so mixture never stops boiling.
  2. Stir constantly with wooden spoon. Cook to firm ball stage abut 250º. Add vanilla and nuts if d43esired. Pour nto butterend jelly roll pan or 9 X 13. Cook, cut and wrap.
