  • 16 ounce(s) refried beans
  • 1 cup(s) salsa
  • 1/2 cup(s) sour cream
  • 3 avocados mashed
  • 2 tablespoon(s) lemon or lime juice finely minced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic finely minced
  • 1 cup(s) salsa
  • 1 cup(s) cheddar cheese finely shredded


  1. mix beans with 1 cup salsa, layer in 12 inch round flat dish. top with 1/2 cup sour cream. Mash avocados with lime juice, 2 tbsp sour cream and garlic. spread on top of sour cream on platter. top with remaining salsa. sprinkle with, tomatoes, and cheese. refrigerate for 2 hours, then serve with tortilla chips or vegetables.

  2. NOTE: could substitute garlic powder for minced garlic. may add chopped green onions to beans and salsa (or use dehydrated onion flakes)
