Torta di Mele

  • Mix 3 eggs with 200 grams of sugar and slowly add 100 grams of melted butter, 150 grams of flour, 1 tsp vanilla, 7 grams bakers yeast, 1/2 cup milk and some grated lemon peel. Blend well. Finally, 3 handfuls of pinenuts and some dried fruit (cherries, cranberries or blueberries) Butter a fluted pie plate and pour in. Top with 1 large apple, peeled and thinly sliced in a decorative pattern. You can spray some Pam and sprinkle large grained bakers sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake 1 hour @ 350F. You can sprinkle powdered sugar on top when it's cool.
