In a large heavy pot sautee the snow crab in 2 Tbs olive oil over high heat for approx 2 3 min. Remove the crabs set aside. Add shrimp shells and sautee for 3 min then remove and discard. Add oil if needed saute garlic and a pinch of red pepper flakes for 1 2 min. Deglaze with wine and allow to almost evaporate. Then add clam juice and a few branches of Thyme and allow to simmer for 3 min. Then add the tomato that has been quickly pureed in the blender. Add 1 2 Tbs of olive oil and bring to a simmer. Once simmering add the crab. Allow crab to simmer for approx 10 min. Taste for seasoning. Then add the calms. Once they open add the shrimp and scallops cut into quarters. Allow to simmer until shrimp and scallops are cooked. Immediatley serve over pasta.
