Holiday cake/ Cherry pound cake

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce(s) cream cheese
  • 1 cup(s) butter
  • 1.5 cup(s) sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 2.25 cup(s) flour
  • 2.25 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 8 ounce(s) cherries drained, chopped
  • 0.25 cup(s) walnuts
  • 4 eggs

Preparation

Blend cheese, butter,sugar and vanilla. Add eggs one at at time. Add 3 cups of flour and baking powder. Add 2 cups flour and baking powder. Combine 1/4 cup flour with the nuts and cherries. Fold in nuts and cherries. Bake in greased tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
