How to Make It

Step 1

Combine sugar and drained pineapple in a heavy saucepan (reserve the pineapple juice for use in other recipes). Cook over medium heat until the mixture is very thick and pineapple is transparent. Cool mixture thoroughly.

Step 2

Gently stir the cooled pineapple mixture into whipped cream.
